Katie was enjoying the cooler days. She was playing with Zorro yesterday like 3 year olds do. I'm glad I hadn't planned on riding her yesterday because I have a feeling it would have been a rodeo of a day.

I bought the dogs some t-shirts. We thought these were hilarious! Goliath's shirt says "Bitches love me" Eddie's shirt says "Poop Happens". We bought a few others but, as you can imagine they aren't a big hit with the dogs. Zeus has a "I'm too Sexy", Max "You had me at Woof" and Bruiser "Whatever".

Here are a few pictures of Popeye. We don't take many pictures of him. Mike has taught him to lay on his back. It is the funnies thing. We put him in a pan with some carrots and then we let him eat the carrots.

Mike and I enjoyed our weekend away in Sedona for our 10 year anniversary. On our drive up, we stopped at Jerome where we did a little shopping and had lunch. We ate lunch at the Grand Hotel - it food was amazing. The Grand Hotel was a hospital in the 192o's.

Kentucky Vacation - Oct. 08

Sue and the girls (Meagan and Kaitlyn) went on vacation to Kentucky with me this fall. We had a great time, here are some photos and the latest house pictures.

Sue and Meagan went rock climbing at Torrent Falls - just east of our property in Stanton. This area is known for rock climbing.

Kentucky Vacation - Oct. 08

We went to the Kentucky Horse park where we got to meet Cigar - he is a retired race horse.

We made a quick stop to visit Abraham Lincoln's birth place and his boyhood farm.

We went to Lake Cumberland - the leaves were just starting to change - it was amazing. I guess only if you live in Arizona with no trees.

Zeus turned 9 yesterday....He could be going deaf at his old age or just has selective hearing. I'm not sure how many times I yelled at him to stay back but, he just ignored me. Anyone that knows Zeus, knows how stubborn he is... He thought it would be fun to play with the tarantula.

The dogs love when I make meatballs - they always get to lick the pan and they always get to taste the 1st meatball. Eddie doesn't like it when the pan moves across the kitchen floor therefore, he just stands on it! I just couldn't resist snapping a photo.

Kentucky Update - September '08

Here are a few updated pictures of the house in Kentucky. The log siding was just started but, these pictures will give you an idea of what it will look like when it is finished. We've covered the basement with Rock. We really like how it turned out.

Mike and I were in Carmel for our friends wedding. It was great to get out of the heat for a weekend. We had a great time. This picture is up the coast at a fabulous restraunt where we ate dinner. The food was amazing.

Kentucky Update - August '08

Mike and I were able to sneak away for a long weekend in Kentucky. We had a great time. We are so excited about the progress we have made over the last few months. It was a very productive weekend - here are a few pictures of the house.

Mike had an opportunity to visit Kentucky while on vacation this summer. It's official, we are finally under construction. We couldn't be more excited and are having fun designing and constructing our dream cabin in the woods.

The cabin has a walk out basement - this shows the front of the cabin.

Dog Party!

Our friend Tony hosted a dog party at his home in Prescott, AZ. Thanks Tony! The dogs are still recovering from all that fun. There were 18 dogs at the party and they all got along great. Some even made some new friends.

This was lunch time - Tony cooked burgers for the dogs - boy they really enjoyed lunch.

A few of the dogs getting in for a swim after lunch. Most of the dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond - I have to admit our dogs were the only ones that were dry most of the day - only Zeus went swimming.

Some of the dogs wouldn't share in the pond! I guess you don't have to share when it is your pond.

Mike enjoyed some fishing while we were there - this was the second fish he caught at Tony's.

Polcaro Visit!

My brother (Jason) and Sister (Selena) were in town for a visit this past week - we had such a great time. Even though my sister would say "worst vacation eva" it rained a few days which is so funny because anyone who lives in Arizona would say it never rains on memorial day. Then a few days later we both ended up bronchitis with fevers over 102.
It is always the best time when we are together and it makes me realize how much I really do miss them throughout the year - I wish we didn't live so far apart.

Although, we were sick and it rained a few days we did manage to pull off a couple things - My sister was able to make it to Garcia's for Pollo Fundido before we got sick so, at least we fit that into the vacation :-)

Jason played a round of golf while he was hear and went tubing down the salt river. He made it to Red, White and Brew one night for dinner.

We all gained a few pounds and had a ton of laughs. It was great to see you guys!

I Love You Tons and Can't wait to do it all again!

BTW - Mike wants to know which Clampett broke the trash can? LOL
